I think if Anet got to some or even most of the botters through certain players being kind enough to send in report after report to support for suspecting botters deserve some kind of credit or mention.
Atleast I think that this helped Anet a great deal in identifying botters. Give them a mini banning dhuum or something :P Since some of the rarest mini's got lost we need some new ones

Im hearing this all second hand from my brother (he was in his guild after all). I must have misheard him in regards to the chaos gloves.

I find plenty of humor in watching all of these people's precious time and valuables getting nuked after they do something that they should have realized from the start was detrimental to the game and against the rules.

Ouch @ that everlasting henchman tonic getting hit, but w/e. I couldn't even fathom how many ectos and armbraces people were talking about holding on their accounts, but since I'm convinced that the bulk of it would have been obtained illegitimately, I'm glad to see it all go.

Most of the ultra rare high-end mini's have been duped 1000's of times over. So even though say 30 - 40 get lost on bot accounts (which according to wiki should be all of them) there will still be hundreds if not thousands left in game.

^ The same can be said for every high-end mini.

I'm shocked in reading how many accounts all these people had, if it's true....

Well played, Anet, well played.

Oh, and with regards to the now 'lost' rare mini pets and other similar treasures... don't let them rot on locked accounts, don't give them away via lotteries or other random competitions... use them for rewards in the automated tournaments, maybe even have a special tournament series in honor of Dhuum's labors... breathe some life back into the PvP side of the game and have Dhuum on hand to watch for botters and hand out prizes to the victors.
this would be nice...but people dont seem to remember the last well publicized ban (the infamous 117?)...they had many rare minis on them---they have never been reintroduced to the game either....so I highly doubt they will do so with this bunch either (sad as that may be), though it would be nice to get a chance at a mini panda or kannaxi----

Does this mean we aren't going to see the CA$H Children of the Corn lined up in Kamadan anymore?

How do we make you sick by enjoying the fact that many losers have their accounts banned for all the right reasons?

did you get banned, if yes then suck it up, if no then be glad anet got rid of those damned botters.

It's sad for the people that did get banned even though they didn't bot. It's like in a hurricane, both good and bad people die.

I think the ratio is very low though. I personally know no-one who wasn't unjustifiably banned of about 20+ bans.
